How are fresh truffles shipped to ensure quality?
To maintain peak freshness, all fresh truffles are shipped via Priority Overnight delivery in temperature-controlled, insulated packaging with ice packs. We recommend immediate refrigeration upon arrival.
What is the shelf life of fresh truffles versus preserved products?
Fresh truffles are best enjoyed within 5 to 7 days of delivery. Our preserved products, such as truffle oils, sauces, and honeys, have a shelf life ranging from 12 to 36 months as indicated on the label.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, our online shop serves customers within the United States. Due to strict agricultural regulations and the highly perishable nature of fresh truffles, we do not offer international shipping for fresh products at this time.
What is your return policy for perishable items?
Due to the delicate nature of fresh truffles, we cannot accept returns on perishable goods. However, if your order arrives damaged or does not meet our quality standards, please contact our customer service within 24 hours of receipt for a resolution.
Are Urbani Truffle products gluten-free and vegan?
Many of our products, including our pure oils and sliced truffles, are naturally gluten-free and vegan. Please check the individual product descriptions and ingredient lists for specific dietary certifications.
How should I store my fresh truffles once they arrive?
Wrap each individual truffle in a clean paper towel and place them in a glass jar in the coolest part of your refrigerator. Change the paper towel daily to prevent moisture buildup and ensure the truffles stay firm.
